Hi to all,

I do have a uti infection and also blood clots in urine sample and protein and sugar going to see urologist next week why blood clots in urine what does this mean????????? any ideas would be helpful.

this is second time of having blood clots also urgency n frequency......getting up 3 times a night to wee due to urgency.

I was just diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis a few days ago. I woke up the other morning urinating blood and blood clots. The same thing happened a year ago but not as bad. When the doctor done a urine analysis, she did not find any bacteria in my urine but treated me with a bladder infection. This time, the doctor done a cystoscopy and found that the lining of my bladder shed. I went for an ultrasound just yesterday, so I am waiting on the results to see what is going to happen next. They don't really know what causes it, but the doctor did put me on a strict diet. I urinate frequently and always have the urge to do so even if I had just urinated. I also have pain during intercourse. This is all symptoms of IC.
