corns

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Sep 15, 2002 1:46 am

I've had a hard corn on one of my toes and it makes that toe look bigger than the rest of my toes! I've had this corn for a long time and never done anything about it. I wear size 12 shoes now and I used to wear shoes that were a size smaller because i hated the way my feet looked in my current size shoe. but now, I wanna be able to wear sandles and open toe shoes but my feet are ugly because of the corns. Is there a way to get surgery to burn them completely off so that new skin can form and also, I know that the toe will have scars but are there any other options that would make the toe look like a corns never been there?

You can have surgery to remove the bone causing the corn as well as the skin where the corn is located. You will have a scar but in most cases this is minimal and far better than the corn that was present.
