I have callus that covers the entire soles of my feet. It is very thick, and goes up the back of my ankle. My father has the condition, and his mother had the condition. I have been told it is genetic.
Would you be kind enough to suggest a place for me to read more about this form of callus?

It is probably not a callus but a skin condition such as eczema. There are many prescription creams that will soften the skin so you do not always have this thickened skin. You should see a podiatrist for a proper diagnosis.
