I developed uveitis and was treated for almost 2 years to clear it up. During treatment the doctor told me I needed to be aware the medication Predforte I needed to clear the uveitis could cause cataract later and to keep a watch for it. Even knowing I had to watch out for cataract I did not notice the gradual loss of vision in one eye because the other eye was fine. I had to close my left eye for some reason not something I do alot and realized I could not see at all out of my right eye.
