Intermittent Bladder Problem, can't find cause

Post a new topicby chris92163 on Fri Sep 26, 2008 11:22 am

Every few months or so I get the 'bouts' of frequent urination. It usually lasts only for a few hours. I feel an intense need to urinate often after my bladder has completely emptied. It's so intense I often just remain in the bathroom for a few hours until it goes away. This has been happening on and off my entire life and none of my family doctors ever had an explanation. Otherwise I am very healthy. I noticed that it often happens after I drink sugary sodas although I'm not sure if that is the cause. Family Doctors seem to think it's unimportant since there is no blood or pain.

It can sometimes be triggered by ejaculation but it has been occurring almost my entire life, years before I became sexually active. Does anyone have an explanation? Should I insist that I see a urologist
